Work

The record we're building UP Ventures on.

UP Ventures is new. The experience behind it is not. Since 2019, our founders have onboarded and expanded brands through The Dhindora Club and Dhindora Alliance — across quick service, bakery, diagnostics, wellness, retail and services. That roster is what we brought with us.

Selected mandates

What the work actually looks like.

Told without the commercial numbers, which stay between us and the brand.

QSR · Pizza

Pizza Galleria

The brief
A strong regional pizza brand with demand running well ahead of the paperwork — no documented system to hand a franchisee.
What we did
Built the franchise kit end to end: unit economics model, territory map, full documentation and training SOPs, then ran the sales funnel and screened applicants.
Where it went
A multi-city footprint across North India.
Diagnostics

Lab n Med

The brief
Diagnostics needed a different model to food — collection centres feeding a central lab, with compliance built into the structure.
What we did
Designed the hub-and-spoke franchise structure, wrote the operating manual for collection centres, and set up the CRM and lead automation behind partner onboarding.
Where it went
Model live and scaling.
QSR · Cross-border

Seven Fries

The brief
An Omani brand with three branches and no structured way to take the concept beyond its home market.
What we did
Packaged the concept for cross-border franchising — brand book, site criteria, franchisee profile — and opened the India-facing enquiry pipeline.
Where it went
From three branches to an exportable franchise offer.

Categories

Where the pattern recognition sits.

Category experience is most of what you're buying. It's the difference between designing a franchise model and remembering how this one behaves in year two.

CategoryWhat tends to decide it
QSR & caféSite quality and delivery mix. The model lives or dies on rent-to-revenue and aggregator commission.
Casual diningHigher setup cost, slower payback, franchisee profile matters far more than in QSR.
Bakery & sweetsCentral production versus in-store. Shelf life is the constraint that sets territory size.
Diagnostics & clinicsCompliance and clinical governance. Hub-and-spoke structure rather than standalone units.
Wellness & aestheticsRepeat treatment revenue and staff retention. Training depth is the whole model.
Retail & lifestyleInventory risk sits with the franchisee. Buyback and markdown terms decide whether it's sellable.
Laundry & servicesLow footfall dependency, route density matters more than location prestige.
International entryMaster franchise structures, localisation of the offer, and import cost before anything else.

Should your brand be on this list?

Whether you're a brand owner looking for franchisees or an investor looking for a brand — that's both halves of what we do.
